What we collect and why
Booking a call: when you book through our Cal.com calendar, we receive your name, email address and the time you choose, so we can hold the call. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps you ask for before a contract.
Analytics cookies
If you press Accept on our cookie bar, we use Google Analytics to count visits to smartsolutionsltd.com and our live demo, and to see how visitors found us (for example a Google search or LinkedIn). It records the pages viewed, rough location (country and city), device and browser type, and the site you came from. It does not record your name or email address, and we do not use it for advertising. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_YQKYRQG2JR, which last up to two years. Google processes this information for us and may handle it outside the UK under its own safeguards. We keep it for 14 months. If you press Reject, no analytics cookies are set. We set one small cookie to remember your choice, which the cookie bar needs to work. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page. Our lawful basis is your consent.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run things for us: our website host, Cal.com for bookings, Netlify, which hosts the demo, and Google Analytics if you press Accept. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Booking details: up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client, when our contract terms apply. Analytics: 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how we use it, or ask us to stop using it. Email us and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
